US President Donald Trump said a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was now in place and urged both countries not to violate it.
"The ceasefire is now in effect. Please do not violate it!,” said Trump in a post shared in Truth Social.
On Monday, Trump announced what he referred to as a complete ceasefire to end a 12-day conflict. He implied that Israel and Iran would be given time to finish their ongoing missions, after which the ceasefire would be implemented in a staged manner.
