Bhubaneswar: The Kannur United Welfare Association (KUWAQ) submitted a memorandum to Union Ministers for Tourism and External Affairs during the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, urging them to address issues related to Kannur International Airport. The delegation highlighted the airport's potential to boost regional tourism and enhance connectivity for expatriates.
KUWAQ
representatives Muhammad Naushad Abu and Vinod Vallikul emphasized the need for
infrastructure upgrades and operational enhancements to maximize the airport's
impact on tourism and economic growth. The ministers assured the delegation
that the concerns would be considered sympathetically, acknowledging the
importance of Kannur Airport in regional development.
