Doha, Qatar: According to the meteorology department, Qatar is expected to experience a spike in relative humidity levels this weekend. On Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18, the rise in humidity is expected to lead to mist and fog in some regions. The weekend forecast predicts temperatures ranging from 32°C to 39°C.
Today, Thursday, will be hot and humid with northwesterly to northeasterly winds at 5-15 knots, gusting up to 23 knots during the day. Sea heights are expected to be between 1-3 feet, increasing to 5 feet in the eastern areas.
On Friday and Saturday, misty and foggy conditions are anticipated, with the sea height projected at 2-4 feet. Winds will vary initially, shifting to northeasterly-easterly on Friday and northeasterly-northwesterly on Saturday, at 5-15 knots gusting to 20 knots during the daytime. The department has also warned of poor visibility in some areas during the morning.
