An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck southern Iran on Tuesday, October 21, as recorded by the National Seismic Network of the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The latest seismic activity follows a 5.5-magnitude quake on September 13 and a 5.2-magnitude tremor on September 14. In August, a stronger 5.9-magnitude earthquake impacted the southern region, with tremors felt in the north as well.
