Doha: The Embassy of India in Doha, in partnership with the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) Qatar, is presenting India as a preferred global tourist destination at Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2025, being held from November 24 to 26 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

The India Pavilion stands out with interactive displays, brochures, and vibrant visuals capturing the country’s cultural richness, diverse landscapes, and the expanding opportunities in its travel and hospitality sectors. From iconic monuments to wellness retreats and adventure escapes, the exhibit offers visitors a panoramic look at India’s tourism offerings.
A key attraction this year is the dedicated Pavilion by the State of Goa. Showcasing a unique fusion of culture, nature, wellness, and culinary excellence, the Goa Pavilion is drawing strong interest from Qatari nationals and expatriates alike. Both the India and Goa Pavilions were jointly inaugurated by Goa’s Minister of Tourism, IT & E&C, H.E. Mr. Rohan A. Khaunte, and the Ambassador of India to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Vipul.
As part of his visit, H.E. Mr. Rohan A. Khaunte also met with tour operators, travel influencers, bloggers, and members of the Goan community in Qatar at an event hosted by the Embassy of India on November 24. He highlighted Goa’s rising appeal as a premium wellness and monsoon destination, strengthened by direct connectivity through Qatar Airways.
“With short-haul flights and world-class hospitality, Goa is perfectly positioned for travellers from Qatar seeking wellness, nature, and culture,” he said. “The serenity of our green season, the depth of our Ayurvedic traditions, and the warmth of our people resonate strongly with families and wellness seekers. In line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s ‘Chalo India’ campaign, we warmly welcome travellers from Qatar to explore Goa’s culinary richness, creative vibrancy, and regenerative tourism experiences.”
