Doha, Qatar: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the opening of the 21st International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG2026) at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) on Monday.

The ceremony began with a documentary showcasing the history of Qatar and the development of its liquefied natural gas and clean energy sector. HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi delivered a keynote speech highlighting the achievements and future directions of Qatar’s energy industry.

Following the opening, HH the Amir toured the exhibition pavilions, interacting with senior officials from international companies and reviewing the latest technologies and innovations presented by local and global firms in the energy sector.

The event was attended by ministers, chief executives, senior officials, and distinguished guests from sisterly and friendly countries, underlining Qatar’s growing role as a global hub for the LNG and clean energy industry February (QNA)
