Doha: Web Summit Qatar 2026 opens tonight at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), strengthening Qatar’s growing reputation as a key destination for technology, innovation and startups.
Addressing
the media ahead of the opening, Director of the Government Communications
Office H E Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani said earlier editions
of the summit delivered economic returns exceeding QR800 million, supported by
strong international attendance and extended visitor stays.
He added that
the 2026 edition is set to be even bigger, with more than 1,600 startups
and over 600 speakers, investors and
global decision-makers, making it the largest startup gathering
held at a single venue in the region.
