Doha, Qatar: Mowasalat (Karwa) has announced a public trial of its new Robotaxi at Old Doha Port, giving members of the public a chance to experience the service firsthand.

According to a social media post by Mowasalat, the trial will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 10am to 4pm. Interested participants can register through an online form, where they must provide contact details and choose a preferred time slot. Each trip will be limited to a maximum of two participants.

The Robotaxi, a first-of-its-kind initiative in Qatar, operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport. It is equipped with 11 cameras, four radars, and four LiDAR sensors, enabling 360-degree awareness, accurate navigation, and real-time obstacle detection
