Doha: Engineer Abdullah Ahmed Al Karani, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, honoured public cleaning worker Muhammad Nour El-Din for his honesty and exemplary conduct after he discovered smuggled narcotic substances while on duty in the northern region.

The recognition ceremony was attended by Eng. Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, Director of the Projects and Development Department. The honour followed the worker’s immediate reporting of the incident to security authorities, in coordination with the Operations Manager of Lavajet Company.

Security authorities promptly took the required field measures and seized the confiscated materials in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, with the Ministry commending the worker’s vigilance, integrity, and cooperation in safeguarding public safety.
