Doha, Qatar: The 15th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) opened yesterday at Stadium 974, Doha, with dazzling fireworks. The festival, running until January 24, 2026, features local and international restaurants, live chef shows, cultural zones, family activities, and daily entertainment.
Dignitaries
at the opening included H E Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, H E Sheikh Abdulaziz bin
Hamad Al-Thani, CEO of Visit Qatar Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, and other
officials. Al-Mawlawi highlighted that hosting the festival at an iconic FIFA
World Cup venue integrates tourism strategy with sustainability and innovation.
He
noted that QIFF has become an annual icon celebrating Qatari hospitality and
cultural openness, this year marking the Qatar-Canada-Mexico Year of Culture.
The festival aims to offer authentic cultural exchange through diverse culinary
experiences.

2026 also features standout attractions, including daily fireworks, Dinner in
the Sky, and the popular Market experience, promising visitors an unforgettable
celebration of food, culture, and entertainment.
