Doha, Qatar: Old Doha Port has announced the launch of its maritime transport service for all upcoming events, building on the success achieved during the Qatar Boat Show 2025. This new initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance service quality at the port, focusing on visitor comfort, improved access, and high efficiency standards.

The port's statement highlighted that visitors can now easily reach Old Doha Port from two departure points: Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha and Pearl Island. This service was a standout feature during the Qatar Boat Show, facilitating transport for over 1,500 passengers and offering a unique way to explore the vibrant waterfront.

The initiative underscores the port's commitment to integrating its rich Qatari heritage with modern elements, reinforcing Qatar's status as a global hub for tourism and maritime innovation. CEO Eng. Mohamed Abdullah Al Mulla emphasized the port's vision to provide innovative services and support the maritime and tourism sectors.

Following the service's success, Old Doha Port plans to launch a tender for a specialized maritime transport operator, aiming to enhance visitor experiences and access options for future events. This expansion marks a strategic milestone in the port's journey to becoming a premier event destination.
