Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2025 opens today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The event brings together 300 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, positioning itself as one of the region’s most influential platforms for global tourism, hospitality and cultural exchange.

by NextFairs, this year’s edition underscores Qatar’s emergence as a leading
international tourism hub. Rawad Sleem, co-founder and general manager of
NextFairs, said the expo reflects growing global confidence in Qatar’s tourism
vision. The accompanying conference, held in partnership with the World Leisure
Organisation, will highlight key themes including sustainable travel, cultural
tourism, wellness and innovation.
Qatar Tourism, serving as the event’s strategic partner, stressed the importance of QTM in building cooperation and expanding business opportunities within the sector. HE Saad bin Ali Al Kharji noted that Qatar’s pavilion will showcase major partners aligned with the country's strategy to diversify tourism offerings. With around 12,000 visitors expected, the expo features national pavilions, investment opportunities and expert-led discussions shaping the future of global travel.
