Qatar Airways expands winter flight schedule with increased services to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai and Singapore

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Airways has announced significant capacity enhancements to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai, and Singapore as part of its Winter 2025/26 schedule, offering travellers greater convenience and more travel options on some of its most in-demand routes.

The World’s Best Airline—awarded by Skytrax in 2025 for a record ninth time—continues to strengthen its global network through Hamad International Airport, adding nearly 3,000 additional flights this year alone. The winter expansion also builds on earlier increases to more than 15 destinations, including Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket, and Toronto.

Boosted Services to Key Global Cities

Kuala Lumpur (KUL):
From 17 December 2025, Qatar Airways will increase flights to Kuala Lumpur from 14 to 17 weekly, enhancing connectivity between Southeast Asia and major cities such as Jeddah, London, and Paris via Doha.

Lagos (LOS):
Between 15 December 2025 and 28 March 2026, Lagos services will rise from 10 to 14 weekly flights, improving travel options for business and leisure passengers linking Nigeria to over 170 global destinations including Delhi, Guangzhou, and London.

Shanghai (PVG):
From 1 January to 28 March 2026, Shanghai flights will increase from 7 to 10 weekly, meeting rising travel demand between China and key Qatar Airways destinations such as Algiers, São Paulo, and Warsaw.

Singapore (SIN):
Beginning 12 January 2026, Qatar Airways will introduce the Airbus A380 on select flights to Singapore, offering expanded capacity and a heightened premium travel experience.

Qatar Airways’ extensive global operations continue to be powered by a modern, diverse fleet that includes Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft equipped with ultra-high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. The airline is the first in the world to operate over 100 widebody aircraft with Starlink connectivity and the first in the MENA region to offer the service.
