Doha, Qatar: The Qatar INCAS Pathanamthitta District Committee hosted the Excellence Awards 2025 on Friday, June 27 at the ICC Ashoka Hall, honouring the outstanding academic achievements of students from the Pathanamthitta District who excelled in their Grade 10, Grade 12, and University examinations in 2025.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal of MES Indian School, Doha, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on the importance of education and youth empowerment. The occasion also saw the presence of esteemed Guests of Honour – Mr. Hyder Chungathara, INCAS Central Committee President, and Mr. Abraham K. Joseph, ICC General Secretary.
The Chief Guest Dr. Hameeda Kadar was awarded with a memento from Qatar INCAS Pathanamthitta Committee with the Guests of Honour in presence of other distinguished guests.
The packed Ashoka Hall stood as a testimony to the strong support from the community, with numerous INCAS Central Committee leaders and community dignitaries in attendance.
The Chief Guest then joined in giving away the mementos for the awardee students along with their parents in presence of Guests of Honour & other distinguished guests invited for the event.
The students of Grade 12 honoured were: Aaron Abey Varghese, Joanna Mary Jetty, Varsha Susan Philip, Ashlyn Maria Sam, Joel Aju Koshy, Nora Rose Jacob, Ashwin Mathew Alex and Ann Renny.
The students of Grade 10 honoured were: Annette Hannah Jetty, Jenna Ann Renjith, Kevin John and Rohith Cherian
Also Master. Roshan K Cherian was honoured for his outstanding achievement in his BCom University examination.
In a special segment, the committee proudly honoured the newly elected ICC Ladies Wing leaders from the INCAS family, notably Mrs. Anjana Menon, as ICC LW President, Mrs. Manjusha Sreejith, as ICC LW Vice President, and Mrs. Annie Johnson as ICC LW Committee Member, recognizing their leadership roles in the community.
Adding to the pride of the evening, Mr. Saji Sreekumaran, INCAS Central Committee Member, was felicitated for his remarkable achievement as part of the Indian Handball Team that secured a bronze medal at the World Masters Games 2025 held in Taiwan.
On behalf of Incas Pathanamthitta District Committee, President & General Secretary hailed the event as a grand success, marking it as a celebration of both academic accomplishment and community strength. They expressed heartfelt appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of students, parents, and supporters, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the future generation. Mr. Philip Kuruvilla, District Senior Vice President was the convenor of the event. Mr. Dileep G Nair welcomed the gathering & Mr. Jojy Thomas Moolayil proposed the Vote of Thanks.
