Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department shared on a social media post that the month of September marks the first month of Autumn, considered to be a transition between summer and winter. 

In September, Qatar's weather is expected to become milder, with rising humidity levels and increasing cloud formations that may lead to rain or thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoons. 

"The first month of Autumn considered to be a transitional month between summer and winter. Weather begins to get mild gradually with increasing relative humidity. The amount of clouds expected to increase with a chance of rain may be thunder at times especially by afternoon. The wind is mainly easterly light to moderate in speed," stated QMD in the post.
