Dubai: Cricket fans in the UAE and across the
region can finally rejoice as tickets for the much-awaited Asia Cup 2025 have officially gone on
sale, the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) announced on its website.
Tickets
start at Dh40 for Abu Dhabi matches
and Dh50 for Dubai matches,
offering fans the chance to watch some of the most exciting contests in world
cricket. However, the most sought-after
India vs Pakistan clash — scheduled for September 14 in Dubai — will initially be available only through a
seven-match package, starting at
Dh1,400. Standalone tickets for
this high-voltage match will not be released immediately, though individual
tickets for other matches are available.
Fans
can purchase tickets through the Platinum
List website, the official sales partner of the tournament. In the
coming days, physical tickets will also be made available at the ticket offices
of Dubai International Stadium
and Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi,
with further details to be announced by the Board.
The
announcement comes after weeks of speculation and rising anticipation,
particularly among fans eager to secure seats for the blockbuster
India–Pakistan encounter. This year’s tournament holds added significance, as
India and Pakistan only meet in neutral venues during multi-nation tournaments,
with their last bilateral series dating back to 2012.
The
ECB has also urged fans to purchase tickets only through official channels,
after reports emerged of fake tickets
being sold online, including on sponsored sites that appeared prominently on search
engines. The Asian Cricket Council
(ACC) had earlier warned the public that no official tickets had been
released, cautioning fans against scams.
