Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in collaboration with Mannai Trading Company W.L.L, the official distributor of GMC and Cadillac in Qatar, has announced a recall of specific 2021–2024 models of GMC Yukon, GMC Sierra, and Cadillac Escalade.

According to the ministry, the recall is due to a possible mechanical defect in the 6.2L engine components, particularly the piston rod and/or crankshaft, which may result in engine failure.

This campaign comes as part of MoCI’s commitment to consumer protection and ensuring that dealerships address product defects and carry out necessary repairs. The ministry confirmed it will coordinate closely with the dealer to monitor the repair process and follow up with affected customers.
