Birla Public School celebrates India's 80th Independence Day

Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School, Doha, celebrated India's 80th Independence Day at their school campus with great patriotic fervor. The event began with the unfurling of the Indian National Flag by Director Mr. C.V. Rappai, accompanied by Management Representatives Ms. Chindhu Rappai, Mr. Nevile Lukose, and Mr. Siddharth Shahani, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.



Head Mistress Ms. Lissy Mathew welcomed the attendees, including Vice-Principal Ms. Radhika Rele, Life Member K. M. Varghese, academic and non-academic members, parents, and students.



In his address, Director Mr. C.V. Rappai extended heartfelt greetings to the Indian community, reflecting on the sacrifices of freedom fighters and India's journey over the past eight decades. He emphasized the importance of shaping India's future through today's choices and contributions, urging everyone to uphold India's values worldwide.



The Head Mistress concluded the event with a formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Management and staff while reminding the audience of their shared responsibility towards the nation. She encouraged all to carry the essence of India's values, unity, heritage, and spirit wherever they go.
