Doha, Qatar: In its daily weather report, the Qatar Meteorology Department has announced that parts of the country are anticipated to experience thundery rain this afternoon, Sunday, August 9, 2026.
The department noted that the hot afternoon weather, combined with the possibility of local convective cloud development, may result in thundery rain in certain areas. The report also indicated that inshore regions will initially be hazy to misty with scattered clouds, while offshore areas are expected to be partly cloudy and hazy at times.
