Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps Navy has dismissed US claim that the Strait of Hormuz is open, accusing the US of attempting to manipulate oil prices and hide its failures.
Despite President Trump's repeated statements that the strait is accessible, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' navy declared these claims as "an obvious lie" and insisted that the waterway remains closed to ships without Iranian authorization.
The restrictions, they stated, will persist until US military actions against Iran cease and relevant commitments are fulfilled. Preliminary shipping data revealed that only seven commodity vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, a significant drop from 17 the previous day and below the 10-day average of 15.
