At least 95 people have died and several others, including 108 Indians, are missing after a massive flash flood swept through Nepal’s Rasuwa district on Wednesday. The Bhote Koshi River surged around 9 am, causing widespread destruction in Timure and Syafrubesi near the Tibet border.
The Nepal Army has deployed 14 helicopters along with disaster response teams for rescue and relief operations. Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police personnel are also conducting intensified rescue efforts in the affected areas.
