Doha: The Malappuram District Pravasi Association-Qatar (Majestiq Malappuram) celebrated Malappuram District Formation Day with enthusiasm and grandeur at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in Doha. The event brought together members, families, and well-wishers to commemorate the district's rich heritage and remarkable progress over the years.

The program was
inaugurated by Association Chairman Ashraf Chirakkal, who highlighted the
significance of the occasion and emphasized the importance of preserving the
cultural identity and values of Malappuram among the expatriate community.
Delivering the
keynote address, Advisory Committee Member Hussain Kadannamanna reflected on
the historical journey and social development of Malappuram district. He
praised the district's contributions in the fields of education, culture, and
social advancement, while recalling its proud legacy and achievements.
The function was
presided over by President Nihad Ali, while Vice Chairman Haidar Chungathara,
Abdul Raoof Kondotty, Koya Kondotty, and General Secretary Vinod Puthanveetil
extended their greetings and shared their thoughts on the district's growth and
the role of expatriates in strengthening community ties.
The event was welcomed by Arya Pradeep, and Sheetal Prashanth delivered the vote of thanks. A large number of members and their families participated in the celebration, making it a memorable gathering that reflected the spirit, heritage, and unity of the Malappuram expatriate community in Qatar.
