Doha: Women India Qatar has officially launched its 'Sevana Cell' (Helping Hands), a dedicated platform established to enhance and streamline service-oriented initiatives for expatriate women and the wider community. The announcement and inaugural programme were formally launched by Women India Qatar President Naseema Teacher.

In
her inaugural address, Naseema Teacher highlighted the significance of
humanitarian and social service activities in expatriate life and emphasised
the important role women can play in addressing community needs through
organised service efforts. The event featured a keynote address by Mushtaq
Kochi, Central Committee Member of the CIC, who attended as the chief guest.
Participants Najiya and Sakina Abdullah shared their experiences and
perspectives on community service and volunteer engagement.
A
cultural segment, including musical performances, was also held as part of the
programme. The gathering concluded with participants taking a service pledge,
reaffirming their commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
The public meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
Sauda P.K., representative of Women India, delivered the welcome address, while
K.C. Mehrban Teacher presented the concluding remarks.
The newly launched Sevana Cell aims to provide fresh momentum to women-led service initiatives and facilitate active engagement in addressing the needs and concerns of the expatriate community in Qatar.
