Doha: The World Malayalee Council - Qatar conducted its second Kerala Unity Blood Drive on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Qatar National Blood Donation Centre under the banner "Many Hearts, One Mission." The drive was organised in collaboration with Blood Donors Kerala Qatar, 14 district associations of Kerala, five healthcare partners, and three media partners.

HE Ambassador Mr. Vipul inaugurated the event, handed over mementos to associates and partners, and interacted with donors. He remarked that donating blood and health camps conducted by various organisations should be a continuous effort, and praised the excellent healthcare provided by HMC and the close ties between India and Qatar.

WMC Qatar President Mr. Ziad Usman expressed gratitude to all associated associations for their support, stating that the objective was to bring people together to work meaningfully in supporting the host nation. ICC President Mr. A.P. Manikandan and ISC Vice President Mr. Sithendu Pal also addressed the gathering.

Among those present were Mr. Nasser from HMC, Mr. P.N. Baburaj, Mr. K.S. Prasad, Mr. Krishna Kumar Bandhakavi, Mr. Avinash Gaikwad, Mrs. Rajani Moorthy, and other community leaders. WMC General Secretary Mr. Renjith Challil delivered the welcome address, Treasurer Mr. Jiji John delivered the vote of thanks, and Ms. Subina Vijay hosted the event.
