Doha: The
Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched a new
edition of the "Hukoomi" platform as part of Qatar's digital
transformation efforts and the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. The
platform is the first outcome of the "Digital Factory" initiative,
designed to serve as an engine for government services and digital innovation.
Minister
HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai said the new Hukoomi reflects Qatar's commitment
to accelerating digital transformation and achieving the Digital Agenda 2030.
The platform is built around an innovative "Life Moments" concept,
enabling users to access government services associated with key life events.
Currently, six Life Moments are featured: getting married, winter camping,
owning a falcon, owning a boat, social welfare, and retirement.
Technical enhancements include Single Sign-On, a virtual assistant, advanced search capabilities, multilingual support, and a secure digital environment. Users can access their personal profile, track transactions, request support, and manage registered assets including boats and falcons. The platform features a contemporary visual identity inspired by Qatari culture, with colours drawn from Bin Ghanam Island, the Qatari flag, and the desert sands.
