Uttar Pradesh, India: Phase I of the Noida International Airport (NIA) launched on March 28, 2026, marking a ₹11,200 crore investment in India’s aviation future.

Designed as a high-tech "aerotropolis," the facility features a 4 km-long runway capable of handling international wide-body aircraft. While its initial capacity is 12 million passengers annually, the project is scalable to 70 million, positioning it as a primary gateway for the Delhi-NCR.

Beyond travel, the airport serves as a massive economic engine, incorporating a 40-acre Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) hub and extensive cargo infrastructure to link local manufacturing with global markets. By enhancing multimodal connectivity and strengthening the UDAN scheme, NIA is set to become North India’s premier logistics and aviation heartbeat.
