New Delhi, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait for their "unwavering support" in repatriating Indian citizens during the intensifying West Asia conflict.
During
a high-level review meeting, the Prime Minister praised the proactive
coordination and logistical aid provided by these nations, which were instrumental
in the success of evacuation flights.
Emphasizing that citizen safety remains the government's top priority, PM Modi called for "Team India unity" to address the conflict's potential impact on global energy markets and supply chains. The session, attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval, also covered ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional mediators like Egypt and Turkiye to de-escalate tensions.
