Islamabad: Pakistan's
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt,
and Qatar for their role in securing the US-Iran ceasefire.
In a post on X, Sharif said these nations provided
"invaluable and all-out support" toward the truce and gave
"peaceful diplomatic efforts a chance to seek a comprehensive and
conclusive end to the conflict."
He also expressed gratitude to Gulf Cooperation
Council countries, describing their "consistent support and commitment to
peace and stability in the region" as essential to Pakistan's mediation
efforts.
"The leadership of all our brotherly countries and the United States of America demonstrated exceptional strategic foresight, sagacity, and patience in giving peace a chance," Sharif added.
