Doha, Qatar: Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) has unveiled the Qatar Diamond Exchange (QDE), a comprehensive platform for trading rough and polished diamonds and precious stones, located in Ras Bufontas Free Zone. By integrating trading, membership, vaulting, certification, and industry services into a single regulated ecosystem, QDE serves as a new gateway for global diamond trade in Qatar.
This initiative aims to connect Doha with international diamond markets and support economic diversification in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
QDE offers a secure, regulated platform featuring a state-of-the-art trading floor, private negotiation suites, an institutional-grade vault with biometric access control, 24/7 on-site security and surveillance, and on-site customs and certification facilities. These features ensure a seamless and secure environment for members to conduct their business.
