Doha: The
Civil Service and Government Development Bureau is aiming to empower government
employees across sectors including artificial intelligence and project
management as part of ongoing efforts to reinforce institutional performance
and support sustainable development across Qatar's public sector.
The
bureau announced that the Public Administration Institute is organising a
series of specialised workshops in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon
University in Qatar. The workshops aim to develop skills in improving
institutional performance, leading change, artificial intelligence, enhancing
operational efficiency, and project management.
Key
topics include improving government processes for operational excellence,
internal auditing and the growing role of AI, project management using agile
methodologies tailored for the government sector, and leadership strategies for
organisational transformation from vision to implementation.
The initiative reflects the bureau's commitment to developing national competencies and preparing government work environments to meet the evolving demands of modern governance. The collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University is expected to contribute global perspectives and advanced methodologies to enhance public administration capabilities in Qatar.
