Riteesh Vardhan Reddy Kangula from DPS Modern Indian School has secured two bronze medals in two of the world's leading physics Olympiads, showcasing the nation’s burgeoning excellence in scientific education.
The first achievement came at the 4th International Scientific Physics Olympiad (ISPhO 2026), conducted remotely from June 21 to 30 under the auspices of the Russian Federation. This prestigious event drew a wide array of participants from various countries, all vying in rigorous theoretical and practical physics challenges.
Continuing his streak of success, Kangula clinched a second bronze medal at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2026), held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from July 4 to 12. The competition was fierce, with nearly 400 students from over 90 countries engaging in advanced theoretical and practical examinations.
These accomplishments highlight Qatar's growing standing in international scientific forums, reflecting the high calibre of its students and its commitment to fostering educational excellence.
