Doha, Qatar: According to the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), Qatar is expected to experience local cloud formations with a chance of rainfall and isolated thunderstorms on 5 August 2026, Wednesday, despite the weather changes, temperatures are expected to remain hot to very hot across the country.
The department noted that the day will start misty to foggy in some areas, transitioning to hot and very hot conditions with local clouds that might bring rain. Nighttime will see relatively humid conditions.
Recent radar images from QMD indicate the development of local rain clouds over the southwestern regions, which could occasionally turn thundery. The department has advised the public to remain cautious. Additionally, QMD warned of reduced horizontal visibility in some inshore areas due to early morning mist or fog.
