Doha, Qatar: Qatar announced on Tuesday that diplomatic efforts to resolve tensions between the United States and Iran are ongoing, despite the absence of direct talks between the two nations.
Dr Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Doha remains engaged with all relevant parties. Current efforts are concentrated on achieving a short-term resolution to support de-escalation, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and establish conditions conducive to reviving broader mediation talks.
