Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi and Neha Bora lead march to Supreme Court over ‘vote theft’ allegations

New Delhi: Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with Neha Bora and other INDIA bloc leaders, joined a march towards the Supreme Court on Monday to protest alleged electoral irregularities and what they described as “vote theft”. Thousands of protesters gathered in central Delhi under the banner of “Chalo Delhi - March for Democracy”.

The stretch between Connaught Place and Mandi House witnessed a large gathering, with security tightened across the national capital. The protest marked an escalation in the opposition’s campaign against the Election Commission of India and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Meanwhile, the INDIA bloc’s legal team filed a petition against the poll panel chief over the allegations. Rahul Gandhi called for Kumar’s resignation and said the opposition would continue its campaign until electoral reforms were implemented and democratic institutions were protected.

Appealing to citizens across political affiliations to join the movement, Rahul Gandhi said the protest was aimed at safeguarding the Constitution and the future of democracy. He asserted that the campaign would continue for as long as necessary, urging people to raise their voices against alleged electoral irregularities.
