Video shared on social media appeared to show workers escorting her to the platform shortly before the jump, followed by people shouting about the rope after the fall. Rodrigues de Freitas had posted images from the site before the incident, including a banner for "Entre Cordas," the company reportedly associated with the activity. "Who was the crazy person who let me come jump off a bridge???" she wrote in a social media post.

Local media reported that six people connected to the event had been detained by authorities. Rodrigues de Freitas's fiancé, who was also present at the bridge, was taken for medical treatment after becoming unwell when informed of her death. The case is being investigated by Brazil's Civil Police.
