Qatar has qualified for the 2027 U19 World Handball Championship after reaching the semifinals of the Asian Men's U19 Handball Championship currently held in Jordan.
They achieved this milestone following a decisive 33-13 quarterfinal victory over the host nation on Friday. From the start, Qatar dominated the match, establishing a strong 16-4 lead by halftime and maintaining their dominance throughout the second half to secure their semifinal spot.
Qatar is set to face South Korea in the semifinals tomorrow. South Korea advanced to the last four after defeating Kuwait 36-28 in their quarterfinal match.
