The United Arab Emirates has announced an indefinite trade embargo on Iran, accusing Iranian forces of launching two ballistic missiles at the UAE. Tehran has denied these allegations.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Wednesday that the decision was made due to "escalations that undermine peace and security in the region." Consequently, all trade, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran have been halted indefinitely.
This development follows a report from the UAE's Ministry of Defence, which claimed its air defenses detected two ballistic missiles fired from Iran, with one missile landing outside and the other within the UAE's territorial waters.
