There is still no official confirmation on whether Iran will take part in the proposed talks in Islamabad, keeping diplomatic prospects uncertain. While Iran has indicated openness to dialogue, its Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei recently stated that no final decision has been made regarding participation.
Adding
to the ambiguity, Parliament Speaker Mohammad
Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran is willing to negotiate but not under
conditions imposed by the United States.
He also warned that Tehran is prepared for alternative scenarios, including
confrontation, if diplomatic efforts fail.
With the
ceasefire deadline approaching, the situation remains complex, with key issues
such as the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions,
and regional relations still unresolved. While both sides appear to be
exploring diplomatic solutions, the outcome remains uncertain as multiple
challenges continue to hinder progress.
