Doha: Algeria’s Olympic boxing champion Imane Khelif has begun an intensive training camp at Aspire Academy in Qatar as she prepares for the 2025 World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, UK. Khelif announced at a press conference that she will train at the Academy until March 29, utilizing its state-of-the-art facilities to refine her technique and enhance her endurance. The event was attended by senior officials, including Ahmed Anani, Vice Chairman and CEO of Kotinos – Aspire Sports Consulting, and Sheikh Fahad bin Khalid Al Thani, President of the Qatar Boxing Federation.

emphasized her commitment to representing Arab women in boxing and making the
most of this unique training experience.
The Academy has a history of attracting top-tier athletes, with Polish hammer-thrower Anita Wlodarczyk and football giants Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich among past visitors. Khelif’s presence further reinforces Qatar’s growing reputation in the global sports arena, inspiring aspiring athletes with her dedication and pursuit of excellence.
