Doha: ICF Qatar National President Ahmed Saqafi
Perambra emphasized that art and literature should serve as tools for social
transformation. He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the I Fest organized
by the ICF Doha Region. The Markhiya Division emerged as the overall champions
with 165 points, excelling in events such as reading, Madh song, speech, poetry
recitation, and spot quiz. Al-Sadd and Mushairib Divisions secured second and
third places respectively.
The winners were announced by National Organization
Secretary Umar Kunduthode, while Salim Irfani from the Al-Sadd Division was
declared Kalapratibha, having scored the highest individual points. The closing
ceremony was presided over by Regional President Yakub Sakhafi, and trophies
were presented by National President Ahmed Sakhafi and National General
Secretary Muhammad Shah Ayanjary. IC Economic Secretary Siraj Chova and RSC
National EB Member Kafeel Puthanpally congratulated the winners for their
outstanding performances.
National leaders including Abdul Aziz Sakhafi Paloli, KB Abdullah Haji, Abdurahman PVC, Rahmatullah Sakhafi, Umar Puthupadam, Noushad Athirumada, Jamal Azhari, Fakhruddin Peringottukara, and Dr. Abdul Hameed attended the event. Wahab Sakhafi led an anti-drug pledge, reaffirming the organization’s social commitment. The program began with a welcome address by Regional Secretary Mujeeb Vailathur, and Harris Moodadi delivered the vote of thanks.
