Doha: The Qatar Indian Media Forum (IMF) hosted a special felicitation ceremony to honour Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Minister for Culture Saji Cherian, who were in Qatar to attend the grand Malayalam Festival. The event, held at the Sheraton Hotel, celebrated their visit and recognized their contributions to Kerala’s social and cultural development.
The
face-to-face gathering brought together representatives of Malayali diaspora organizations, industry leaders,
and media professionals
from across Qatar. In a gesture of respect and admiration, IMF officials
presented mementos to the visiting dignitaries, marking the strong bond between
Kerala’s leadership and the expatriate community in Qatar. The evening also
served as a platform for dialogue and exchange between policymakers and members
of the Indian media fraternity abroad.

fostering unity among Indian media professionals and strengthening cultural
ties between Qatar and Kerala.
