Doha, Qatar: In a remarkable tribute to the late K. Mohammed Easa, a towering figure known for his unwavering principles and lifelong dedication to sports, the Qatar Indian Football Forum (QIFF) has announced the launch of the Easaka Memorial 7s Football Tournament-Qatar’s first-ever franchise-based 7-a-side football competition.
The
landmark tournament stands as a celebration of sport, community, and legacy,
honoring a man who inspired generations with his integrity, leadership, and
passion for football. By dedicating this pioneering event to him, QIFF aims to
immortalize his contributions to the Indian sporting community in Qatar.
The
tournament introduces a Point-Based
Player Auction Platform, inviting Indian players holding a valid QID to
register and compete for selection by participating franchises. With this
innovative system, QIFF continues its tradition of elevating community football
to new heights, offering players a bigger stage to showcase their skills.
Set
to take place in Doha, the event marks a new chapter in community football,
blending professional structure with competitive spirit—an approach that
mirrors QIFF’s long-standing commitment to developing high-quality tournaments
for Indian expatriates in Qatar.

is now open for players eager to be part of history and experience a
professional-style auction format for the first time in Qatar’s 7s football
