Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MOI), through the General Directorate of Traffic, has issued a public notice urging vehicle owners with expired registrations to take immediate action. In a statement shared on its official social media platform 'X', the MOI called on owners of vehicles whose registration validity has exceeded the legally permitted period — as outlined in Article (11) of Traffic Law No. (19) of 2007 — to regularize their vehicle status without delay.

The ministry emphasized that owners must rectify their vehicle registration within 30 days from the date of the announcement to avoid legal consequences. This step is part of broader efforts by authorities to enhance road safety, enforce traffic regulations, and maintain order on the roads. The MOI reminded the public that failure to comply within the specified time frame will lead to the implementation of approved legal procedures.
