Doha: Qatar Airways has announced that its limited
flight operations to and from Doha will continue until March 28, as regular air
travel services remain affected by the current situation in the region.
The airline said the temporary schedule is being
operated with approval from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, allowing
selected flights to use specific air corridors while restrictions on normal
operations remain in place.
According to the update, only certain
international routes will operate during this period. These flights are mainly
arranged to help passengers who were affected by earlier disruptions and to
assist them in continuing their travel plans.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight
status through Qatar Airways’ official channels before heading to the airport.
The airline also reminded travellers to proceed with their journey only if they
have a confirmed booking.
Qatar Airways stated that full flight operations
will resume once authorities confirm that conditions are suitable for the safe
return of normal air travel services.
