Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has issued a weather warning as strong northwesterly winds are forecast to affect most parts of the country on Sunday and Monday, January 25 and 26, 2026.

According to QMD, winds are expected to range from fresh to strong, bringing dusty conditions and reduced horizontal visibility in several areas. A further drop in temperatures is also likely, increasing the feeling of coldness.

Marine warnings will remain in effect during the period, and the public has been advised to take necessary precautions, especially in open and coastal areas.
