Doha, Qatar: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the launch of a new urgent care clinic for adults and children at Al Wajba Health Center, starting September 28. The initiative comes as part of PHCC’s ongoing efforts to expand urgent care services and ensure timely medical attention for the community.
With
the addition of Al Wajba, the total number of urgent care centers under PHCC
has risen to 13, all providing services around the clock. Urgent care clinics
for adults are available at Al Ruwais, Umm Salal, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd,
Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Rawdat Al Khail, Al
Kaaban, Al Karaana, Laabeeb, and now Al Wajba.
Children’s
urgent care services are offered at seven centers, including Al Ruwais, Umm
Salal, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Laabeeb, and Al Wajba. These facilities
provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for non-emergency and
non-life-threatening conditions, offering parents quick access to essential
medical care for their children.
PHCC stressed that all urgent care clinics are open to patients in need, regardless of the health center where they are registered. The Corporation reaffirmed its commitment to continuously developing and enhancing urgent care services throughout the year to meet growing community needs and to further raise the quality of healthcare delivery across Qatar.
