The web version similarly displays “This site can’t be reached.” According to Ooni, a non-profit platform monitoring internet censorship, Roblox showed signs of access anomalies in Qatar on August 13, 2025, at 7:32am. No official government confirmation regarding the inaccessibility has been issued so far.

Concerns over Roblox’s safety have been raised for years by community members, citing hidden dangers and inappropriate content for children, who make up the majority of its player base. Online discussions in recent days praised the potential ban, saying the platform contradicts moral values, customs, and traditions, while also posing safety risks for young users.
