Doha, Qatar: Qatar Rail has announced the launch of its new 365-day MetroPass, offering commuters unlimited travel across the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks. Priced at QR990, the pass was unveiled today during the “Back to School” event at Sport City Station on the Gold Line.

As part of the launch, Qatar Rail is offering an Early Bird promotion with a 20% discount for event visitors. Vouchers can be collected at the station until August 31 and redeemed from September 1 to 30, 2025, at Doha Metro Gold Club or Lusail Tram ticketing offices.

Running from August 19 to September 2, the “Back to School” event brings together leading bookstores and school supply retailers, offering families exclusive deals ahead of the new academic year. The event is being held in collaboration with local partners to enhance customer experience.

In addition, Qatar Rail is hosting free family activities daily from 4pm, including interactive games, art sessions, and competitions, giving children and parents the chance to win prizes while engaging with the metro network.
