Doha, Qatar: Public transport in northern Qatar is set for a major boost as Mowasalat (Karwa) launches the new Express Route E801 tomorrow, August 17. The service will connect Lusail, Al Khor, and Al Ruwais with limited stops and a frequency of every two hours, offering commuters faster and more convenient travel between these key destinations.

Mowasalat said the new route is part of its strategy to expand Qatar’s express bus network and improve connectivity in line with national mobility and sustainability goals. The service is expected to benefit residents, workers, and visitors in northern communities by providing a reliable alternative to private transport while reducing overall travel times.

As a key player in Qatar’s transport sector, Mowasalat continues to align with Qatar National Vision 2030 through sustainable practices such as deploying electric vehicles, introducing digital tools to cut paper waste, and reusing up to 50 percent of grey water for bus washing. The company said the launch of E801 marks “a significant step forward in developing Express Transport Services in Qatar.”
