Al Khor, Qatar: Cardiff Indian School has opened its doors in Al Khor, marking the fulfilment of a decades-long aspiration of the Indian community in the region for a dedicated Indian curriculum school. The new institution offers state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to meet international standards and will provide education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 across all streams of the CBSE curriculum.

Established under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi and Principal Dr. Maneesh Mangal, Cardiff Indian School has been envisioned as more than an academic institution. The school aims to create a vibrant learning community where knowledge, innovation, values, creativity, leadership and practical skills come together to support the overall development of students.

Cardiff Indian School is Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi’s third educational venture in Qatar. His existing institutions include Cardiff International School, which follows the British curriculum, and a dedicated Kindergarten institution. The new school is positioned to address the long-standing demand of Indian families in Al Khor for access to CBSE education closer to home.

“The Indian community in Al Khor has awaited an Indian school for decades. Cardiff Indian School has been established to fulfil this long-awaited need and to provide families with a school that reflects their aspirations for their children,” said Chairman Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi.

The school features a modern learning environment supported by a wide range of academic and co-curricular facilities. These include science laboratories, robotics and computer laboratories, astronomy facilities, libraries, dedicated art, music and dance spaces, a swimming pool, a multipurpose auditorium and indoor play areas.

Alongside academic learning, students will be given opportunities to develop critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills through sports, arts, technology, practical learning, clubs, cultural activities and experiential programmes.
